What will happen at the Networking Events?

The agenda for all three subsequent side events is similar. The main focus is set on direct exchange and discussions with Rwandan talent and relevant stakeholders. Before getting into questions and networking the participants will get some context in a few lightning talks. Detailed information can be found in the following.

Arrival - 5 pm

Feel free to arrive at our office around five o’clock to settle in, mingle and save yourself a chair in the first row. We are going to start the programme at 5:30 pm, please ensure to arrive before that time.

Introduction words bei by MaibornWolff and GIZ - 5:30 pm

After a warm welcome a few lightning talks will set the following panel discussion into context. You will learn why Ojemba chose Rwanda as a location, what the socio economic and political situation are like and what experiences we gathered in our first client projects as mixed teams.

Panel discussion and Q&A with Rwandan developers - 6:00 pm

Charlotte Karera, CEO of the GBS Growth Initiative will lead you through a panel discussion with four of our Rwandan developers. After being introduced to their company, past projects and work experiences there will be plenty of room for all the questions the audience has.

Virtual Reality Tour - 6:30 pm

Always wanted to experience an immersive tour into the Rwanda GBS sector? Twenty VR glasses will be ready to grant you an acquaintance you won’t forget to soon.

Networking and finger food - 6:45 pm

We will end our evening together with some networking while enjoying finger food just as much as good conversations. The VR tour will be available in paralllel for the whole time pf this agenda slot.

Where will the events take place ?

All three subsequent side events will be held at our MainbornWolff offices located in the in the corresponding cities. Be especially aware when looking for the offices on Google Maps: In Munich we have two offices, be careful to navigate to the right one.
